The best thing you can say about a helmet is that you forget you are wearing it. This one has great fit and adjustability. The bug net works well and the visor is easy to move around for the perfect angle. The only drawback to this helmet is that it is a little on the warm side. I live in AZ so most helmets are warm but this one will be saved for fall and winter months here.
Over all I like this helmet a lot and I would recomend it if it fits your head shape. It has a ton of tech for a helmet at this price point and the finish of it it top notch.

The quality of this helmet is crazy its very well made.
I own 2 Fox flux helmets, and a Specialized Vice helmet which are similar styles.
This 7IDP blows them away in weight and function.
I have a big 7 5/8 head and its hard to find a good fit and this helmet has no pressure points at all, tons of room.
If I was to buy another helmet it'd be this one.

This is a great helmet but looses a few stars for 2 issues I had. First, the good....the helmet looks good, comes in a number of colors and fits comfortably. However, it can run hot. It could be that there are too many or too thick pads which retain sweat and heat. The bigger problem I had though was that the ratchet closing mechanism at the back of the helmet would always come loose. In the middle of a downhill I'd move my head and it would pop open. I don't want to take a hand off the bars to tighten it back up while trying to ride a technical feature. I really want to like this helmet but that problem is a big big safety issue. I'll keep searching for the perfect helmet.

Was just under the top size for med/large size but the sale didn't have that size in Stock so took a chance and ordered large/x large worked out fine lots of adjustment. Mesh for bugs is gimmick IMHO but I really like the helmet very comfortable.

I usually have a hard time finding a helmet that fits my head comfortably. I usually have to go with the largest size I can find and keep my fingers crossed. I decided to roll the dice on the Seven ldp M2 Helmet because their sizing went into the XL area. I have to honestly say this feels like the best fitting helmet I've ever owned and I've owned plenty. This helmet covers more of the back of my head than any other helmet I have ever worn. I can feel the inside of the helmet actually contacting the entire circumference of my head. The padding is very comfortable and the internal screen to keep bugs off your head is a nice bonus. In short if I could pick a helmet that I want on my head when I go over the handlebars it would be this one. Enough said.

Well sized and light weight. Big head so had to get a big helmet works well.

This helmet has amazing looks. I picked the gray/blue color combination, however I'm giving it the 5 stars because of safety.
It covers the back of the head very well, and the fit adjustment is great. It also has an adjustable visor.

I have a Giro shaped head, that's what I usually buy. I'm mostly a road rider and use my road helmet on the MTB, but decided to get a MTB specific helmet- visor and more protection. These 7 helmets are, IMHO the coolest looking so I rolled the dice.
Happy with every aspect of it. Fits well and comfortable, lightweight, the rear fit adjustment ratchet works well, all appropriately heavy duty and nothing about it strikes me as cheap or low grade. I've swapped between medium and large helmets over the years, so I'm right on the cusp. I bought this helmet as a medium and the fit is such that I can wear a thin cap under it when it's cold (which makes it snug) or none and the ratchet strap makes up the difference. I guess that means that (compared to Giro) the fit runs very slightly on the large side- if you're on the cusp like me, get the medium. I did measure my head and I'm at the upper number for what they recommend for medium, which seems accurate.
I'm riding in winter (SoCal ~50 degrees) temps now, I can see it being kind of hot (compared to my road helmets) in the summer (100+ here). For now though, in these temps, ventilation and comfort are great. The best compliment I can give it is that I don't notice that I'm wearing it.

So I purchased the Lime/Black, X-Large/Xx-Large version of this helmet b/c I kinda have a big head (7-3/4 standard size) and I believe a circumference of just under 61cm. I was concerned that the helmet would run big on me, but it actually runs between True to size to slightly smaller, so get the larger size.

The helmet is adjustable and with my head size, I really didn't have to adjust it very much. Fits just right and feels natural on my head.

Has good padding on the inside and a easy to move rotating adjustment knob on the back. (see photo)

I really like how there is a little bit more protection on the posterior end of this helmet. Ventilation feels great, but not too much ventilation for when it cools off outside. I originally wanted the yellow color (for "to be seen" purposes), but they didn't have my size in that color. The neon green is bright, and I like it even more since it is the same shade of green that my favorite team, "Seattle Seahawks" have within their uniform.

I would recommend this helmet to anyone.

This helmet is really comfortable. I like the way it covers the back of my brain box for extra protection. Plenty of vents to keep your head cool too.

Fit is true to size. Easily adjusts and vents well. Haven't crash tested it...yet...but it appears to be solidly made.

I would definitely recommend this helmet to anyone. Only thing I can say anything about is the visor, could be a touch longer. Not a big enough complaint to take stars away. Fit is great and feel lighter than my last helmet

I currently use a Troylee A1 helmet that runs around $135. What I love about the TL is the comfort and the fit. So many helmets sit high on my head, the TL has a deep fit. I wanted a backup helmet that I can use when traveling and riding everyday. I took a shoot at the 7Idp M2, especially at the $79 price. It feels and fits very similar to my TL A1 Design using a plush inner headliner that makes the helmet super comfortable. Light weight and great ventilation. Straps are comfortable. Unfortunately not all heads shapes are the same. Their sizing chart was spot on. I take a M/L in both and my hat size is between a 7 3/8-7 1/2.

So I have always required L/XL helmets since I have a "long" head. Yes folks...a horse face. I just came off two Bell Supers in a row, which were fairly comfy, but had poor side to side fit...very floppy and loose which compromises safety in a crash. They also have an irritatingly small tension wheel that is hard to turn when tight or with gloves on.
This 7idp is confy fore and aft, and snug all around. The coverage is good, and the tension wheel is easy to grip and turn. Highly recommend.

Have had several helmets over the years, this one is my favorite by far. You won't be disappointed!

Great fit. Sits a little higher than I'd like over the ear, but is one of the most comfortable helmets I've worn. The adjustment knob is easy to use one handed while riding.

The helmet was light and comfortable to the head. Good for long ride.
I only put 4 star on it because of the liner inside. When it too soak with sweat, it started to fall down on my eye and face.
The helmet design was great but too many brand was almost the same design. It was not under patented by 7IDP.

Very light weight and comfortable helmet. The visor is nice and the netting on the inside helps keep the bugs out. I would definitely recommend this helmet.

The fit is true to size and very comfortable. I tried a few helmets and this was very sleek looking. some of the others are too large (not the fit, but the exterior of the helmet). This one does not make your head look giant .

Great fitting helmet minus the padded insert, the padded insert is almost too big for the helmet size, kinda bunches up on part of the helmet. The bright orange color is fantastic too, great visibility for other trail users.

Fit and comfort are excellent. Sits low on the head, adjuster snugs up comfortably and stays in adjustment. Even with chin strap slightly loose helmet does not move around. No problem wearing riding glasse with it either. Only minor complaint is padding in liner is a little thin. But then I'm used to motorcycle helmets.

I really liked the look of the helmet, but there were a few negatives for me. Upon delivery, the visor adjuster dial had fallen off and need reinstalled. Not a big deal, but it made me wonder if it would work it's way loose on a ride. The bigger issue was the fit system. The helmet fit fine, but the pad in the back would push my hair around when looking up and down. It was a really irritating feeling, so I decided to return it.

First and foremost this helmet is crazy comfy! All else is secondary... But, the colors were slightly different then I thought but that's the risk you take buying online. Also the stickers were not put on straight and were dry and brittle out of the box. Not a big deal, but it definitely makes the helmet not look "brand new". If your looking to break out of the black (black helmet, black bike, black everything) that is soooo popular, this is a good budget friendly option. Overall I would recommend this helmet for its style and comfort.
