good stopping power
These pads have good stopping power, but sometimes they howl. I can't for the life of me figure out why and when it's going to happen. They installed easy enough and stop me when I need to stop so the occasional howl is something I can live with.

Alligator Organic Disc Brake Pads
Good brake pads, they are about the same as the stock Avid BB7 pads for stopping power/fade for less $$$.

Once I Had the proper information I ordered these pads and they came very quickly. They were exactly what I had in mind and installation was very simple. The Organic option seems to make sense in general for noise and longevity

It’s like Avid, but not as good
Replaced my worn out Avid pads with these and while stopping power is the same, an occasional squeak occurs when wet. Never happened with previous pads before. But for price I paid I can leave with that sound once in a while

As expected
Bought these solely based on price, as a spare set. They came on time, and look to be decent pads especially for $8. Haven't had them on the bike yet, though.
