Animal's Big 4 Handlebar is a multi butted 4-piece unit, with 8.25 inches of rise. It is made out of cromoly that's post weld heat treated. The first thing you might notice about this 4 piece bar is that it's 4 piece! Now that we have that out of the way, also notice the upsweep. A 5 degree setting isn't the most widespread thing in the world, but it may work for you and the riding you do. All told these are not your father's handlebars, even though they're 4 piece.
