I purchased these V-brakes based on the tons of reviews i found online and with the main point of having the reversible noodle. I only found these and some paul component v-brakes cable of swapping noodles to the Right hand side and i liked the reviews and functional design of these much more.
I have an old school litespeed obed that has right hand side top tube cable routing and you can see from the pictures i attached that these v brakes fixed my issue.
set up is easy and has a great linear feel. i came from parrallel pull XT V-brakes and these hold up great with out the bad cable routing that would weaken my hand by the end of the ride.

have these brakes set-up on my single speed - they work great
i found them alittle more difficult to set-up than shimano xtr
but once done they worked great they seem to be good and strong
but where expensive i do like shimano xtr vees better

i really dont know what are better. the xtr or the black ops. i would have to say the black ops are a little easier to adjust. very light and sexy looking brake with great stopping power. all this hype about disc and how they are superior to v brakes is bull. as far as i am concerned, if you need more stopping power than what v brakes can offer, then you are just going too slow.

So far avid brake products have left a good taste in my mouth. I really don't like linear pull brakes. But this cnc machined masterpiece was the easiest to set up. The spring tension screws are allen head and very predictable to adjust. After 20 pulls of the brake one more adjustment of the spring tension screws was needed. After that, this brake centers perfectly. The stopping power is very strong and linear. It has a very smooth and precise feel to it. Brake modulation is very linear.
