In order to trim the XX World Cup’s weight to 277grams, the levers are constructed of carbon fiber, and the two piece caliper is constructed of forged magnesium. Trimming weight shouldn’t come at the expense of features. The XX world Cup features top loading pads. With top loading pads, new disc- brake pads can be installed without taking off the wheel, tool-ed reach adjust and TaperBore technology. TaperBore technology refers to the unique patent pending closure system that houses an open bath reservoir which shaves weight and improves lever feedback.  If you’re worried about the power of this brake due to its light weight, rest assured the oversized pistons will give you extreme stopping power with less lever pull, and single finger braking.
