Comments about Avid Code R Disc Brake:

I don't think there is a better set of brakes out there at this price to strength to weight ratio. These will do well on any FR, AM bike. I'd throw them on a DH rig too but I think their big brother the "CODE" is made for that.

    oh and they sick obviously

Good price point and lots of power. Nicer feel than the zees. Only down side is they go through pads quicker.

Comments about Avid Code R Disc Brake:

I've used these brakes for a full season now and they're great. The brakes are powerful and quiet. They work really well on a DH bike with no noticeable brake fade and without causing hand fatigue. What more can you ask for.

Comments about Avid Code R Disc Brake:

This brake will stop you immediately. You really have to be carful at the lever because these have a lot of power. They would probably be better suited for a motocross bike. I really like them, they give me the confidence knowing that when it need some brake that they will be there fore me. If you are looking for a great brake at a decent price look here!
