In order to compete in a legendary bike race like Paris-Roubaix and soon to be legendary Tour of California, you need a bike that will handle the rigors of the cobbles, hills and sprints with comfort and performance in mind. The BH Speedrom has survived the cobbles of the Arenberg forest and winning a stage in Pasadena in the 2009 Tour of California, a unique feat for a bike in this category. The geometry of the Speedrom lend itself to the long ride over rough surfaces. The taller head tube and slightly relaxed geometry give the Speedrom confidence inspiring stabilty and a more comfortable seating position.

The frame is constructed of a mix of medium and high modulus Toray and Mitsubishi carbon fiber. The slightly sloping top tube increases stand-over height and the tear drop shaped down tube increases stiffness while the slender seat stays reduce road vibration. Up front the carbon forks will help the Speedrom track straight and true.

Complementing the Speedrom frame is a carefully chosen component spec. The differences between Shimano 105 and Ultegra or Dura-Ace is coming down to a handful of grams and saving quite a bit of money. Close your eyes and you may have a hard time telling them apart. Shimano R500 wheels, BH Titan brakes, Prologo Kappa Saddle and an FSA Gossammer BB30 crankset round out the rest of the gear.
