Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
The Darkside is Banshee’s exceedingly playful park bike. Riding a Darkside without smiling is nearly impossible. It has outstanding geometry for slicing berms and scrubbing lips. Banshee spent years perfecting the design before dropping it. Banshee’s Keith Scott explains that he built the bike with parks like Whistler in mind. He wanted a bike you could rip all day; a rig that’s steady in rough fast sections, but also one that’s nimble enough to whip around tight berms. The bike is designed around 27.5” wheels, but also accommodates a 26” wheel if desired. Using industry leading aluminum, the Darkside features 180mm of plush travel. The linkage action is equal parts predictable and exciting. It has a steady and dependable feel that’s also fun and poppy. The KS virtual pivot provides superior braking and an improved axle path over its single-pivot counterparts. A short chainstay makes the Darkside a manual machine. The phenomenal rear end is paired with a slack headtube angle and a low bottom bracket. These features give the Darkside a relatively long front-to-center, giving you unmistakable confidence in sketchy sections. It’s pretty hard to deny the Darkside’s park prowess.
