The Sanction is Bell’s all-new lightweight, recession-busting full-face helmet. Weighing in at 950 grams, the fully-ventilated, low-profile helmet was designed with the younger rider in mind. Its sizing skews smaller than both its predecessor (the Bellistic) and the more robust Bell Drop, and is squarely aimed at BMX, Super-D and all-mountain riding. The moto-inspired style lines and graphics are youthful and contemporary, adding to the Sanction’s aggressive attitude.

DO NOT buy this item unless you've tried it on in a store. The sizing chart listed on the website is wrong and your helmet will not fit. Even worse, Jenson would not refund the return shipping costs even though they advertised the sizing chart. Very disappointed. The helmet itself is great though. Looks good, but I will not be purchasing a replacement from Jenson.

This helmet vents well but it is warmer than a non full face. The cheek pads fit snugly but the size medium holds my head very well. I guess the best compliment I can give is that I forget that I am riding with a full face helmet. Once you stop moving, it gets warm but otherwise is is great! The extra protection is well worth a little extra sweat.

Well, I just crashed with this helmet and bashed it pretty hard on a rock after attempting a jump. I am a little disappointed that after only 2 months of use I need to replace it since it has been cracked; although, that is what it is for, and what really matters is that my head is fine. After looking around for another pretty cheap full face, I ultimately chose this one again to replace it. As I said in my previous post, I wish it had a removable liner, but after looking at other helmets, this one just looks like its ventilation is far superior; thus, I think it is better for my use. It has just about everything that I want in a full face for my type of riding. It has a lot of ventilation, lets me breathe well, its light, its easier to remove than helmets with D-rings, looks good, and, most importantly, it PROTECTED me well. I am very glad that I switched to a full face, since a regular MTB helmet wouldn't have protected as well for the area of impact. I don't know why more All Mountain and more aggressive XC riders haven't switched, especially with helmets for sale like this one. To me, the added safety makes it well worth some added heat and weight--and definitely much better than bashing your face and/or needing a trip to the ER.

Bought 3 of these for 4,5,7 yr old kids. Great helmet, uses snap buckel instead of D-ring, easier for kids to use. Fits well and looks good and will keep all there teeth in their mouths when they pile in.

I had the Bellistic prior to this one and it took the abuse I put it through. This one has better ventilation and padding.

I just got this helmet and am very impressed with it. I ride XC, but became interested in a full face due to the safety benefits, and after wearing one of my dad's old dirt bike helmets on a couple rides, I found myself more confident on the trail, so I decided I wanted to switch to a full face helmet. After looking around, I ordered this helmet in a Large and White. I have not gotten to ride extensively with this helmet yet, but after a quick 10-minute test ride, I am impressed. There is a lot of holes, more so than in the description. 10 on top! 4 in the back, 1 for each ear, and 3 for the mouth--so total, 19 holes! I ride in Florida, so I need those because it gets REALLY hot down here. The helmet seems to have pretty good channeling, so I am anxious to see how it feels on a longer ride and in the summer. This helmet is also pretty lightweight, my scale said about 1020g, so a little more than claimed, but that might be because it is a Large. My head is a little over 59cm and it seems to fit me very well, and it is comfortable. The buckle is great, I love it over the traditional D-rings like most full faces have. Only thing is it is most likely not quite as strong.

One of the only negative things I have to say is that the liner is not removable. Not a real big deal, since I probably wouldn't wash it much anyway. But, down the road it would be nice to be able to refresh the helmet, so I deducted a star for that.

Overall, I would say if you are not into serious downhill, but are looking for a helmet more suitable for XC and All Mountain, I would say this is a very good choice, especially for the price. Besides the removable liner, I would say 5 stars for my intended purpose.

            The helmet is very...

The helmet is very good overall. The quality is nice on the outside, but the interior liner is nothing special. I do not like that the liner doesn't come out, but it does dry fast. The ventilation is actually pretty good for a FF. For the price it does the job (face protection) and I saved $50 from the drop model. If you don't use it multiple times a week this helmet is perfect. If you ride everyday you may want to get the drop model since it has a nicer liner. My buddy got the Giro Remedy and his liner is way plusher, but its heavier.
