The Bell Sanction is a helmet with the younger riders in mind. Weighing in at a claimed weight of 950 grams, the Sanction is a super light full face helmet. The Sanction has 15 channeled vents to keep air flow at a maximum. The Channeled vents swoosh air in from the front, over your head and flushes warm air out of the rear. Comments about Bell Sanction Helmet 2013:
I have been using this helmet since Christmas and couldn't be happier. I have never been partial to open face designs, but previous full face helmets I tried were heavy, suffocating when my breathing was taxed, and lacked adequate airflow for the central Texas heat. The Sanction is the complete opposite of those other full face designs. It is slightly heavier than the average open face, but the airflow is sufficient enough to keep me from overheating and the design is heavy - breathing friendly. My only complaint is in sizing - surely there are some kids out there with adult sized melons. Luckily there is sufficient enough padding that the helmet eventually conforms to my head.
