The Variant is a versatile helmet that will fit into any element of mountain biking. The Variant sports some pretty functional and awesome features. Channeled vents rush air in the front of the helmet and circulate cool air around your head. The channeled ventilation flushes warm air out of the rear of the helmet. An internal reinforcement and a Fusion In-Mold construction keep you safe so you don’t have to worry when you ride. To top it all off, a sporty visor is included to help combat the sun.

I love this helmet. It fits great and has very good ventilation. Its really easy to mount up headlights or gopros. The back of head TAG adjuster works great and easily dials in the fit. I use this helmet for all my riding including mountain, dirt jumping, and some road riding. I will definitely buy bell helmets in the future.

This helmet looks cool, has good coverage for more aggressive riders, and I really like Bell's fit and retention system. It works well and is easily adjustable. Sometimes I wear a headband and need to adjust the fit on the fly. It is easy to do.

Nice fitting helmet and does exactly what it's supposed to! I had a crash the other week and cut my face pretty good, but the helmet took a good hit (knocked off the visor and dented it) but that in turn spared my skull from a good bashing! The design looks pretty neat too.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
