Bern has a unique way of creating their liner. The Bern exclusive Zipmold® foam is a form of liquid injection that provides a better strength to weight ratio. This in turn enables burn to create a lower profile helmet that is also lightweight. Zipmold® hard foam meets several safety standards that include ASTM F 2040, CPSC, and EN 1078. These standards are skate and bike safety standards.
