Niner Carbon Fiber Fork 2012

The Niner Carbon Rigid Fork could very well be the most advanced rigid mountain bike fork on the planet. Purpose-built from the ground up, Niner utilized carbon in ways no other fork manufacture has done before. From the tip of the dropout to the top of the steerer tube and everywhere in between, the Niner Carbon Rigid Fork takes full advantage of the damping characteristics of carbon. Unlike three-piece bonded forks which can have stress risers in transitions between dissimilar materials, the full carbon design of the Niner fork is both lighter and stronger by eliminating bonded sections all together. In addition to the full carbon complement, the outside shape of the fork was designed to disperse impact energy throughout the entire structure, damping trail vibrations before they get to your hands without compromising steering precision. From tip to tail, the Niner Carbon Rigid fork was designed for better performance. Niner didn’t just want to offer another carbon component - they wanted to utilize carbon the way it was intended to be: stiff, light, strong, and forgiving, all rolled into a single package.

Comments about Niner Carbon Fiber Fork 2012:

I've been using this fork on a variety of terrain ranging from fast and smooth fireroad to rocky/rooted descents and I can't say enough about this amazing fork. You've probably heard it before, but Niner knocked it out of the park with this product. Works just as a carbon rigid fork should! I run it was a Maxxis Ardent 2.4 up front set to 20psi( tubeless) and it truly smooths out a good amount of trail chatter. My only small gripe is I get thrown a bit on fast rocky descents, but that's true of any rigid. Buy one! You won't regret it!

Comments about Niner Carbon Fiber Fork 2012:

I love this fork, it replaced a heavy rockshock dart 3 on my rockhopper comp and it was like a night and day difference! Love the ride, almost as cushy as suspension and the fact I took 3.5 lbs off of my bike was awesome. Best upgrade a 29er can have! Just one caveat - don't look down at the fork when you are riding, that thing is moving alot.

I purchased this fork about a month ago in the rootbeer color and I absolutely love it! By far the nicest rigid fork I have ridden. It is not harsh at all, stiff, light weight, and compliant.
