This tire works good I am using it as a front tire soaks up bumps my short travel fork won't I don't know what the other reviewer is thinking its a 2.35 tire of course it's not like using a 2 or 2.1 cross country tire so it is sluggish but what do you expect with a big tire !!!!! The most bang for your buck bargain out there !!!

Comments about Duro Switch Tire 29":

Previous tire was a well known high end expensive brand. Wasn't keen on spending big money for a tire I wasn't too happy with. For the price of the Duro Switch, I figured I'd give it a try.

Mounted tubeless to Arch EX rims with Stan's sealant. Used a compressor and they mounted quick and easy without any sealant leakage around bead or sidewall.

I've put about 200 miles on them without issue.

Sure there are better cornering tires, lighter weight tires, but not for this price. They get the job done nicely at 1/6 the price of the tires they replaced.

Comments about Duro Switch Tire 29":

At first glimpse this seemed a great value, which it is. It has a mean aggressive stagger which says it can eat dirt for breakfast. Tire mounted perfect. The downfall of this tire was the rolling weight. The inertia this tire took to propel over climbs was immense and therefor tiring to say the least. It did not corner well at all, as the rear tire seemed to slide a lot.. I proved a point to my self, wider knarlier tires does not mean better by any means.

Comments about Duro Switch Tire 29":

I have yet to ride on the tire, I wanted to put out a quick review for anyone considering these tires that might consider setting them up tubeless. I tried a couple of different methods and would not recommend that any type of ghetto tubeless be attempted with these tires. I finally successfully mounted one with the cut tube method but the bead still was very hard to get to seal. Otherwise they mount up exactly at the claimed width of 2.35 and look to be a very decent tire. I will run the other with a lightweight tube and not stress trying it tubeless.
