Duro Switch 29" Tire

Duro Switch 29" Tire

The Duro Switch is an excellent budget friendly off-road tire for the 29er platform. A quick rolling center tread keeps you speeding down the trail and raised knobbies on the shoulders ensure a tight grip when cornering and braking.

Great Product
I was expecting a terrible tire at this price. I was wrong!!!! Best tire and I have run expensive kenda tires that can't even compare to this performance. Mainly used for downhill riding through rock gardens and technical areas

PROS: Lots Of Grip, Affordable, Durable

Great performance and even Better Price
For $14.99 I couldn't resist tryng these tires. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and weight. The true weight for the 29" tire is closer to 750 grams, but that is still less than an Ardent 2.4. These tires are just as voluminous and have a very similar tread, although the Duros have more open knobs. GREAT traction in loose rocky terrain, rolling resistance is a bit slow, but these are really not designed for smooth hard pack riding. A really good tire for western Colorado trail riding. The performance and price were so good I bought 4 more. Sealed up tubeless with Stan's without a problem. HIGHLY recommended for good tough grippy all around trail tire.

Just Perfect!
This tire is just near perfect, bought it as an upgrade for the front wheel and is simply the best upgrade i done so far,i immediately noticed what an improvment on turns it made.So far i tested it on dry and sandy soil and wet roots here in Georgia, and it simply shines, particullary on wet soil,i been able to run it @ 25 psi with tubes with no problems. Not a fast nor slow rolling, its just the right amount of rolling resistance.

PROS: Gripy, Lightweight, Easy To Install, Attractive Design, Durable

CONS: NONE

BEST USES: Mountain Biking, Front Tire, Upgrade

Good tire for the money
This tire works good I am using it as a front tire soaks up bumps my short travel fork won't I don't know what the other reviewer is thinking its a 2.35 tire of course it's not like using a 2 or 2.1 cross country tire so it is sluggish but what do you expect with a big tire !!!!! The most bang for your buck bargain out there !!!

PROS: Easy To Install, Low Cost

BEST USES: All Mountain, Mountain Biking

Great for the money
I have yet to ride on the tire, I wanted to put out a quick review for anyone considering these tires that might consider setting them up tubeless. I tried a couple of different methods and would not recommend that any type of ghetto tubeless be attempted with these tires. I finally successfully mounted one with the cut tube method but the bead still was very hard to get to seal. Otherwise they mount up exactly at the claimed width of 2.35 and look to be a very decent tire. I will run the other with a lightweight tube and not stress trying it tubeless.

It's worth the Switch
I ride strictly on the trails, this tire out performed my explanations, because of how cheap the price is. I have ridden these tires. In wet, rocky, rootey and hard pack conditions and they have performed flausly. I was so impressed with the tires I ordered 2 more for when these finally wear out.

PROS: Handles Good, Out Performs It's Price, Easy To Install, Great Buy
