Duro Triton Tire

The Duro Triton tire is an all-around mountain tire that works well over a variety of different terrains. A quick rolling center tread keeps you speeding down the trail and raised knobs on the shoulders ensure a tight grip when cornering and braking.

      Better than expected!
Using as a front tire with Gremlin in the back, tracks well seems to have a lot of grip. Light weight.

      Comments about Duro Triton Tire:

Have put around 20-25 miles on the 2.2 versions of these tires. So far, so good. Seem to wear well, being Im 200 lbs and these are on a steel hard tail.
Carve really well and braking is on par with other tires Ive run like the Bronsons, FireXCs, telonix, nevagals. No real difference in running direction on the rears.
Bought a 2.0 and 2.2 initally, but geez the 2.0 is a small tire. Not just width but I guess I'm just used to a taller tire. Pretty harsh on the hardtail and had to take too much air out to get the traction I wanted. Bought another 2.0 and 2.2 and put the 2.2s on the hardtail and the 2.0's on the wife's mountain bike since she's way lighter and has rear suspension. Time will tell on the wear aspect, but for the price, I think if I get another month out of them, they're worth it.

      Comments about Duro Triton Tire:

Haven't had any issues with this tire on the trail aside from being tougher to take on and off than my last tire. Definitely good for the price. It's only been a month so time will tell how durable they are.

Great value compaired to what is locally available for the price. I did not experience any wobble in tire as the other review stated. Easy rolling tire that should wear slow.

          Comments about Duro Triton Tire:

This is used on my only bike a 100mm travel hardtail. It gets commuting and casual XC use everyday. I was thrilled at how easily it sealed Stan's tubeless. Quick hit with the compressor and it has stayed sealed since. Much better than the 50+ dollars I had to spend on a Maxxis at my LBS last time. Other review suggested a manufacturing defect, but honestly I have seen that with almost every brand. Mine is fine. Hope it's not a lucky fluke.

                Comments about Duro Triton Tire:

The bike I put these on go through two sets of tires a year, so I was looking for something inexpensive. Both tires have a wobble in the same place, an obvious manufacturing defect. Too bad, because they seem to be decent tires until you install them.

                  Comments about Duro Triton Tire:

Clear mud VERY well. VERY low rolling resistance and still bite hard on the climb. Good tire for endurance rides. Converted to tubeless very easy on my Crossmax. Doesn't play very well on technical and fast downhills were brakes are essentials. Best use: endurance and cross country.
