Duro Road Presta Valve Tube

These Duro inner tubes come in one width (20-25c) and in 2 different valve lengths, 48mm, and 60mm. No matter the length of the valve, the low price remains the same. The 20-25c width is super accommodating. These inner tubes can be used to tire widths between 18c and 25c. That’s a huge range!

Duro 700c Road tubes come packaged in an air tight foil bag. This not only makes storage easy but this style of packaging helps to keep your tubes fresh. Keeping tubes fresh is an issue because you don’t want them to dry out and crack before you even have a chance to ride them.

One thing we have discovered is that there are only a handful of bicycle inner tube manufacturers. Many if not all inner tubes, come from a small handful of suppliers in Asia. This essentially means that no matter the tube brand, we’re all riding the same tubes. This is great for you because you’ll be getting a high quality tube at a super reduced price. Nearly nowhere else can you buy an inner tube for such a low price anymore!

Duro Inner Tubes are super inexpensive and super versatile. Varying valve length and a wide width range enable these 700c road inner tubes to be used in many applications. Whether it’s Road, Track or Fixed Gear, these tubes will work!

Duro Road Presta Valve Tube Features

  • Wide Width Range 20-25c
  • 2 Different Valve Lengths 48mm, 60mm (for deep dish wheels)
  • Threaded Valves help to keep valve in place
  • Weight: 91grams (60mm) +/-15grams

please no offense to those having trouble with these tubes but I'd ask you all to consider soliciting advice from your local bike shop (or watch a youtube video) on tube changing technique - even if you think you are proficient at it. over the years I have heard folks complain about "bad" tubes and I'd bet my next paycheck it is user error. there is a technique for getting that last bit of tire - even the brutally hard Michelin Pro series with incredibly tight beads - over the rim without making your own flat. this causes nearly immediate blow-outs as well as a gradual flat from the snake-bite pinch you have created (the "I rode my bike then the next day the tire was flat" kind....). the key is NO TOOLS TO INSTALL. you must use your hands with the twisting technique to roll the tire toward you over the rim. you also need to set the tube in the tire with a slight bit of air already in it and make sure it is fully seated in the tire without twist. there are many good youtube videos out there. sorry folks, I know this may be offensive to some but if I had a dollar for every time I watched a bad/hasty tube change, I'd be rich! these are completely adequate tubes. just not uber-light! that said, just avoid a second helping at dinner and you just cancelled the extra weight of these tubes.

I ordered four of the 48mm tubes and figured, hey, they are cheap, why not? Whoops...

Tube 1: Installed, pumped up, hit a pothole and flat. After inspection, it didn't seem to be a pinch, the seam just gave away and split.

Tube 2: This one was my fault, ran over something metal in the road riding in the dark. Oddly, I didn't see any puncture in my tire.

Tube 3: Got through my ride, noticed my tire was low. Pumped it up, flat over night. Check the tube, slow leak from the seam grrr...

Tube 4: I'm waiting to give this tube to someone I don't like

Great running deal on these tubes. I buy them 10 at a time and keep the garage stocked. They come in puncture proof packaging that allow you to stuff the tube in your saddle bag without worrying about pucturing it on your multi tool it share the bag with.

Comments about Duro Road Presta Valve Tube:

I bought four of these tubes thinking that I was going to save money. In about 10 rides, I have gone through three of them. I am already on number 4. I could have bought a continental tube for 10 bucks, it would have lasted way longer, and I would have ended up saving 2 bucks. Every time, the flat happens the same way. I go for a ride, I come home, I put my bike away, and then I find it flat in the morning. It's like the rubber has weak spots, or just gives out. Tubes are on of those things that it is easy to cheap out on and every time you do, you will regret it.

I run these in a Mavic Ksyrium Equipe wheel set with Mavic Yksion tires. My Mavic tube in the rear has lasted forever. The only reason the front gave out is because I hit a pothole the size a manhole cover. I should have just replaced it with another Mavic or Continental tube, but nope, I tried to save some money and in the end didn't save anything at all.

Save yourself some cash. Don't buy these.

Comments about Duro Road Presta Valve Tube:

These tubes are fantastic on the wallet and the weight is reasonable at 95 grams. I've had much lighter tubes, but I would not recommend them for anything other than racing. They are weak, they blow out and are very unsafe IMO. I am only 145lbs. These tubes however, are very durable, cheap, semi light and fit well. Buy a pile of them, I did !

I never had to purchase so many tubes before. I build a wheelset with these. first one went 5 miles, next one 25 miles out. The spare blew out even before I got back on the bike and still putting my pump away. All three by what seemed like slices not punctures. Had to call some one to pick me at that point.

Best price I've found on the internet. Perfect size, fit well within the tire upon installation. Two valve sizes, long and longer. Could use a third valve size, 36mm for my vintage 80's rims. But still a great value. They come in a very practical, sealed bag for better storage and lower cost. Also less packaging to dispose of. My most recent purchase was a quantity of ten. Did I say the price is great? Boy, Howdy.

There's no doubt about it, this tube is the best one i've ever used- it's cheap, durable, and not too terribly heavy. If you are worried about puncturing, try to buy at least one (it's less than the price of one coffee! - be warned, however, if you are like me you will find yourself never going back to any other tube again!
