First of all, this was my first attempt at wrapping road bike handlebars and this tape was perfect overall. Although it had a thin strip of adhesive on the back, it was still easy to correct mistakes or even unwind several inches of it from the bars. So far, I've logged over 20 miles on the bike and the tape hasn't shown any signs of wear yet. It is very durable and thick, which adds to the comfort of the ride. However, a few more inches of it would have been nice due to the fact that my brakes do not have hood covers. I had to wrap around the clamps to cover some of the exposed band which left me a few inches shorter on top of the handlebars than I would have liked, but if you have hood covers this shouldn't be a problem. The kit included end plugs and two small pieces to tape behind the brake levers. It also included what I assumed was ending tape (which probably couldn't hold more than a piece of paper to your refrigerator) which I switched out for some good electrical tape. Despite these minor things I am very happy with this addition to my new bike.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
