The Blackburn Outpost Rear Rack is a versatile rear rack that works great for trips as simple as a spin to the grocery store to those as complex and demanding as a cross-continental tour. The Outpost is made from Easton Scandium and aircraft-grade 6061 aluminum tubing, resulting in a sturdy, long-wearing rack that can bear a heavy load but doesn't place an unnecessary weight burden on your bike when unloaded. Blackburn's fit system ensures that the Outpost can be adjusted to fit bikes of all standard wheel sizes (26", 27.5", 29"), even those with disc brakes. A rear light/reflector mount is a great place to attach your visibility accessories and the Outpost's narrow profile keeps pannier weight close to the center of the bike. A flat platform along the top of the rack works great as a saddlebag support and is also a great place to attach a sleeping bag, tent, or any other touring essentials that don't find their way into a pannier. Bolt the Outpost onto your touring rig and get ready to explore everything from your neighborhood bike trail to lonely backroads far and wide.
