Blackspire Snaggletooth Chainring

CNC'd from 7075 T-6 aluminum, the Blackspire Snaggletooth Chainring offers a narrow/wide tooth profile that retains the chain without having to use a chainguide to run a singlering setup on XO1 and X1 94BCD cranks. The alternating narrow/wide (or fat/skinny) teeth fit more directly into the narrow and wide spacing of a normal chain, "grabbing" the chain and holding it more firmly, even without the assistance of a clutch derailleur. Cut from .190" material, the Snaggletooth not only holds perfect balance between lightweight and strength, but it completely obsoletes a front derailleur, eliminating irritating chain rub and drag. The anodized finish with laser etched graphics ensures a clean, stealthy look.
