Top shifting performance that meets and even exceeds OEM rings. Super durable 7075-T6 aluminum construction wears well and looks great with laser-etched graphics.
  • Stainless steel shift pins (on middle and outer rings) enhance shifting
  • Shift gates and profiled teeth further enhance the shifting quality
  • Sold as single ring

blackspire super pro
Product arrived to TX very fast. I have a 34t setup on a specialized enduro with XT cranks, 1x10 setup with a 42t rear cog. A little heavy, but makes up for it with durability. Never dropped a chain and performs flawlessly. Quality is top notch. If your like me and arent a weight weenie..the blackspire pro is a really good a strong chainring. Feels stiffer than the XT chainring it replaced when i hammer down the pedals. 5 stars for me.

PROS: Performance, Appearance, Durable

CONS: Little Heavy

BEST USES: all mountain, Mountainbiking, Downhill

Way better than stock
Bought these to replace some stock sram chain rings. These are much better and have a lot better shifting feel than stock as well. I was having issues bending teeth on my stock setup (even with a bash) and so far no issues with these. And these are canadian 'eh!

Not for 1X
I was looking for a 4x104 42T or 44T chain ring to use for on/off road use with in a 1x drive-train. Due to the chain-line from the 2 biggest rear cogs the chain would walk off this ring. I never got past installing it and running through the gears on a stand. Probably better suited for a 2x or 3x touring setup but the way it walked off still may be an issue. I am back to a 38T Narrow Wide ring for now.

PROS: Attractive Design

CONS: Chain Drop

Pretty good chainrings
Somehow shifting isn't quite as good as with the Blackspire M980X chainring this replaced (both an XT M785 crank). Very good construction and fit, it just doesn't shift quite as nice as the other Blackspire product.

PROS: Good Looks, Solid Construction

Great replacement rings
These rings are well made and very heavy duty. They shift well, were easy to install and are affordable too.
