I have had this pack for about a year now. it works great, it does have its downsides. Limited storage may limit the length/distance of your rides.

I like this a lot because it is much better than the one i bought before. But my cover for the water already broke. It doesnt stay attched to the pack. Other than that I love it and it keeps me hydrated and all my gear safe.

This is a well made pack. On mine, the bladder started to leak around the fill opening. I think the seal has failed. That was after around five months of use. I think it will be covered under warranty, but I am not sure. There is just not quite enough room for everything. I carry a hand pump, small pliers, tire lever, co2 and one tube. But the 29er tube really doesn't fit very well anywhere in the pack. The pockets are not quite "efficient" enough. It is not bad, and I have seen a lot of them out on the trails. I will use this one until it wears out, but I will be looking for a different design when that time comes.

Replaced an older Lobo. This model is much improved. Very comfortable. Holds all needed tools and water for most rides. New bladder with baffle and quick connect works perfect.

i purchased this for road biking, the 100 oz capacity is great. while cycling in 95 degree weather the capacity is definatly useful. the abiltiy to pack all the essential gear is great. tire levers, tube, patch kit, co2 cartriges, cell phone, cigarettes and lighter all fit well. having been caught in quite a few afternoon thunderstorms, the water resistance of the storage pouches is a really nice benifit for your electronics packed away. the large mouth on the resevoir is fantastic, you can load in the ice by the handfull and top it off with water very easily. the contents stay cool after two hours in direct sunlight, which really helps with keeping down your core body temperature. friends and family think i am crazy for riding in the heat of the day, when the heat indexes reach 110 degrees, but with this hydration pack, i am safe from heat exhaustion and/or heat stroke. my only wish would be if camelbak would make a larger capacity pack with a larger resevour for those occasional 50+ mile rides.

I have really enjoyed this pack. As others have said, it is best used for mid range bike trips. I dont like to carry a lot in the pack so it has plenty of room for my keys, cell phone, mp3 player and some food.

I have the 2010 Lobo in orange. This Camelbak looks small but I can fit a lot of stuff in it. In addition to carrying a lot of water, I can carry all of the (bike related) things I may need on a ride. I can fit a small pump, spare tube, tire levers, multi-tool, patch kit, powerlink, pump adapter...and there is still room for a granola bar and more. In the top section I usually carry a point and shoot camera but it also has a headphone port if you want to put an mp3 player in it. The strap and back padding make it comfortable to wear. The only thing I would reccommend with this pack is to get the tube trap/clip because I found that the tube dangled and hit my leg while riding without it.
