I wish these weren't my favorite bottles, but they are. I can usually find the Polar Bottle for 1/2 as much, but I really like the valve on this one. You don't have to open and close it due to the design, but can lock it during travel. The valve is also easier to clean than conventional rubber valves.

I was looking for a bottle to take to work with me on the hot TX summer days. I liked the fact that it was insulated, bigger size and I wanted to try out the new Camelbak jet valve of course. In the end I was somewhat dissapointed. It does not keep the cold very long even if you fill it up with ice and the jet valve is hard to clean by hand (haven't tried the dish washer yet). So, the search still goes on...

I had the 21 oz version and loved it, except for the small volume. I saw this larger size on a friend's bike and Jenson had a pretty good price. When I take it to the gym for a swim, lift and spin, it stays icy for over 2 hours. I haven't tried it during hot weather rides yet, so I can't speak to that.

This is a great bottle. I've had other insulated bottles and they all seem to work about the same. This bottle has a trademarked JetValve that is so convenient. You can hold the bottle upside down or drop it and nothing leaks out but as soon as you squeeze it and suck on that valve, the water is endless.

Great bottles. They are BPA free, which is a big plus for me, and they don't get rattled out of bottle cages, even on rough mountain bike trails.
My only complaint is that dirt can get caught inside the mouth piece due to its design. Other than that, they're a great bottle. I'd buy another.

Camelbak claims that they keep your drinks colder twice as long as regular bottles and that is no stretch of the truth. Even in 90+ degree weather, it will keep a bottle of ice water cold for a couple hours. I've tried other insulated style bottles and this one is by far the best you can get in the price range or without being incredibly bulky. Fantastic product!
