It latches onto you like a overly needy girlfriend or baby lemur. That however, is a good thing. Like the sexy benefits you'd get from said girlfriend, or the uber-cuteness of a baby lemur. I used it for riding downhill until I sold my bike - no uplifts in NZ, well at my local at least - so it's good to bring water for the big push back. And on that push it's rad to have somewhere to stash your lid and knee pads. It vents well so when you're back at the top you're not going into thermonuclear meltdown.
I commute back and forth to work with it - around a 5km walk, it carries all my junk and I'm not sweating like an autograph chaser when I get to work.
My main criticism is that the main zippers only go down 3/4 of the way, so you've got a bit of a void at the bottom. But then again, with all the internal compartmentalisation it's not a huuuge issue.
I'd say 4.6 stars, but I can't, so I'll round it to 5.

Spending hard earned money only to have the product fail within only a few hours of use is frustrating. I hope Camelbak is not going to the profit over quality model some of the other big companies are going with. I have 4 Camelbaks... but this may be the last one I ever buy.
Leaking issue aside, the pack is solid. Organized compartments for tools, tubes, pumps, etc. I can fit elbo armor, knee shin combo, full face, 2 tubes, shock pump, tire pump, knife, zip ties, multi tool, levers, first aid pack, jacket, gel packs, wallet, phone, and camera. Plus the 100oz capacity of water, and not feel like i have a giant tube on my back like the 2010 Don made me feel. Its not a light pack but it carries what i need to lead rides.
Compression straps keep the load stable on the decent. No shifting, so you feel stable so you can rip the bike around. As stable as you'll feel with 20-40lb pack on.
Pack gets 5 * * * * *
Bladder gets 0 sorry but it should not leak with less than 8 hours of use.
To sum it all up. I love the pack. Its got room for what ever you need bring. It compresses to stay stable. The pack feels great empty or fully loaded It keeps things organized. Bladder shape feels comfortable even fully filled.

I bought the Don to replace my wife's aging M.U.L.E. It looked to be a larger version of the old pack. It was missing a few key things that made the m.u.l.e great. There isn't a built in rain cover. The back doesn't have the same support or ventilation. Straps are not as wide or comfortable. The main pocket doesn't zip open all the way so you really have to dig to get anyrthing out of it. On the birght side though everything is larger from the phone/camera pocket that is three times larger than the old pocket to the main compartment which has about a third more storage capacity.

I came from just a basic camelbak without any storage that has just a bladder in it (50oz). Not only is this one much bigger but it is much more comfortable to wear then my old one. No problems with the quick disconnect on the hose leaking. Love the multiple storage compartments for bringing along snacks and tools and spare parts while im out riding. The front clips are also great to hold it in place while going down the rough stuff.

I've had this pack for about a week now and it is absolutely amazing. It can fit just about everything that you will ever need to carry on a bike ride for multiple hours, and looks great to boot. The colors may be a little feminine, but since I personally like pink, it's not much of a problem for me.

I bought this pack for my wife, expecting it to be about the same size as my mule. It's considerably bigger. No problem though. The pack is what you expect from Camelbak ~ good quality and reliable. My wife uses it for day hikes instead of for its intended purpose of cycling. She loves it. It has plenty of room for a jacket, as well as her lunch and all the girly stuff she likes to bring along.
