The front plate is made of carbon as it wraps around the upper and lower parts of the derailleur, adding more torsional stiffness than the everyday derailleur. The derailleur is designed in the shape of parallelogram offering stiffness and reducation in play. The Campagnolo Chorus Derailleur installed with a two-part system that reduces weight and increasing lifespan.
