I bought this jacket because at around $35 on sale the price was hard to beat and I needed a high-viz jacket for cool weather riding. The jacket is pretty basic which is what you would expect at the price. The fabric does a very good job of blocking the wind, and the jacket appears to be well-made. I will just have to wait and see as to its durability. I bought a large. Sometimes cycling clothing turns out to be too form-fitting for a middle-aged guy like me, but this jacket has plenty of room across the chest and middle (maybe too much for some folks). The rear tail is long and covers your backside. My only two complaints are that the sleeves are a bit short for me (I have long arms) and there is a gap in the armpits between where the zippers end and begin (not a big problem - it sort of acts like a vent). Again, I think the jacket is well worth what I paid.

So as other reviews on the web will state this jacket is a good at what it is supposed to do. Block the wind. Haven't tested it in the rain, but it will keep you warm in pretty cold weather. However it has too short of sleeves. I got a medium based on other reviews saying it was baggy. Length and width are perfect (6'1", 175-180lbs), but the sleeves are a little short when stretched out on the road bike. Also while it does pack up into itself it is too big to go into a jersey pocket. The waist loop system worked fine for road biking but I could see it possibly coming loose mtbing.

Overall not bad, but could pack down more and be longer in the sleeves.

Comments about Canari Razor Convertible Jacket:

I stand 6'4" and the sleeves are about 4 inches too short. Also, there is a zipper pucker at the top of the shoulder that precludes me from comfortably looking over my shoulder for oncoming traffic. Dangerous. I have to pat the pucker down with my opposite hand before glancing back. On the other hand, the versatile design and manufacture of the jacket are both excellent!

With a shorter length in the front and long tail, you can tell this jacket is meant for riding. It has great ventilation and the fleece lining in the neck helps keep it comfortable. Easy to store when things get too warm and light enough for most conditions.

Comments about Canari Razor Convertible Jacket:

The tight weave of this jacket really keeps the wind off your body. I have used it with layers on a very cold day 45 degrees and in the mid 70's without a layer.
Both times I was comfortable. There is a vent across the back which lets hot air escape just like a fishing shirt.

The tail is long to keep water off of you. The collar is a comfy fleece lined one, not to much or little just right. All stitches are tight, the zippers are easy to use. I can take the sleeves off without taking the jacket off and stuff them in a pocket, making it a vest.

It folds up to about the size of a 6 inch sub and is easily stuffed in your kit. I will always have this with me when riding or even going to the beach on a windy day. Looks good too on or off the bike. Very happy with mine.
