Goes great on Kona Process 153
I recently replaced my old Monarch shock with this DB Inline Coil and could tell an immediate difference. The rear end felt more stable and planted to me and the shock was more predictable. Climb switch is nice on those longer ascents and actually feels stiffer than my old shock did when it was locked out.

Once you go coil...
Should have switched to coil spring a long time ago. Running this on my Yeti SB66. Definitely purchase the cheaper (heavier) springs before getting the more expensive, lightweight spring in case you need to move up or down in spring rate. Use Cane Creek's spring rate calculator, and if you are in between rates (i.e. 375 recommended, 400 and 350 lb/in available), go with the lower rate option and run additional preload.

It's lightweight and super adjustable, whats not to love? I got the shock with a 15mm open eye (its actually reamed to just under 19/32", you can find bushings on McMaster) and pressed in the normal DU bushing rather than being stuck with Cane Creek's harder-to-find variety. Plus the 15mm eye should be compatible with the needle bearing conversions.

This shock rocks!
I bought the 200x50 version for my Santa Cruz Hightower. There is a small spacer that makes it 50mm stroke which I removed and using it in the 57mm stroke to get roughly 150mm out of my Hightower. The shock is awesome. Tons of grip and traction, not too heavy and tons of adjustment. Quite frankly it blows away my monarch plus I had prior!

If I choose 15mm open end, will both sides be 15mm or just one?
A shopper on Jun 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Just one, the side that doesn't have the climb switch. It will fit fox eyelet bushings if you want to press one in.
I want to put one on my 2015 Knolly Warden. Knolly sites says 7.875x2.25, reducer and hardware spec 21.8xM6. Do I need the 15 mm Open End Eye?
Tim S on Jun 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hey Tim...I just put this shock on my 2015 Warden as well. I went with the 7.85 x 2.25 ( 200 x 57 ) No problems at all.
