Bulky but necessary reach is indeed reduced.

Comments about Cane Creek SCR-5C Compact Aero Levers:
I bought these instead of the full size model. $7 cheaper, lighter and fit about the same (M hands). What's not to like? Beautiful shape and polished anodized finish. Hello! Does anyone make silver anoidzed parts anymore? Make sure you buy the replacement gum hoods if you want the "perfect" look.

Comments about Cane Creek SCR-5C Compact Aero Levers:
I put these on an steel frame single speed conversion. I chose the compact version because they were a few dollars cheaper. Cane Creek makes high quality components - both durable and well designed - and these are no exception.
I was a bit worried that they would be too small since I wear a medium or large glove, but they are perfect. I think you'd have to have pretty large hands before the size is an issue.
The levers are very comfortable and the hand rests have a very grippy raised skink pattern. My only concern is that the hand rests feel a bit wide compared to the old school ones that were on the bike before. This seems kind of odd for a product designed for people with small hands. But after getting used to them, I like them a lot and I think the extra bulk makes them feel more stable.
I'm very happy with these levers, especially considering the price!

Mounted these on touring build and couldn't be happier. Can reach these easily while still cradled on the hoods. These are well priced and are exceptionally nice for we with shorter fingers.
Comments about Cane Creek SCR-5C Compact Aero Levers:
Great levers for the money. Cane Creek has turned into my go-to brand with good reason. The hoods are very comfortable for my smaller hands with smooth and easy lever actuation. Work great with cantilever brakes. Absolutely love these levers!

I just love these. They're built like they were custom-made for my hands. Very beautifully designed and extremely smooth-functioning. Thanks for the price match, Jenson.
