    This is as good as it gets
    It's as good as the Vitoria latex tube. Been using both Vittoria's and challenge's inner tubes. Best used with open tubular clinchers. Using these tubes with Vittoria open corsa for ride characteristics nearly as good as a racing tubular ...with the big plus of being able to replace the inner tube on the go, should a flat occur. Heads-up: massage the tires before and while inflating.

    Worth the Price for the Nice ride...
    Latex tubes have gotten a bad rep for being not worth it... That's so wrong!! I tried these out for the first time with some open tubulars and WOW... the difference in ride quality and cornering is almost frightening. SO much more supple, lightweight and comfortable. Going back to regular butyl tubes will be difficult after riding these. They're worth the hassle. I didn't flat a single time riding these tubes, but I ruined one while trying to mount it. The trickiness is in the installation.

    Do NOT ride these unless you are 100% sure you installed the tube properly and didn't pinch it between the tire and the rim. Your tires must have no cuts or holes in the casing and your rim tape job has to be perfect.

    Paired with some high-end tires these are probably the closest you'll come to that elusive tubular ride quality. Granted I have ridden tubulars and they feel completely different, but nice tires with these are closer than anything else.

    PROS: Great Ride, Lightweight, Good Quality

    CONS: Fragile

    Light, durable, lower rolling resistance - what's not to like?
    I average 250 miles per week on far from ideal roads. These tubes really are more resistant to punctures and pinch flats than any of the lightweight butyl tubes I've tried. They also improve ride quality and rolling resistance over any of the lightweight butyl tubes I've tried. Installation is easy if you use some talc and put a little air in them beforehand. Well worth a few more bucks. (And it's a myth that you can't patch them -- just can't use glueless patches.)

    bought two , one exploted at 60 psi , had a puncture on the other one , they're supossed to be stronger , very light and easy to install

    Very light!
    I bought it for using as a spare tube in my MTB trails.

    I ride tubeless, but it is always good to have a spare tube with you. It is not a MTB tube, but it will work in an emergency situation.

    And the best part: It is incredible light! It weights less than an half of weight of a ordinary tube.

    PROS: Lightweight

    CONS: NONE

    Not a Latex Fan
    First off let me say that I am not a latex fan. I bought some Michelins at first to use on my race wheelset. I pinched the tube between the tire and the rim the first time during install and it blew up. Next try I got it to hold so I was running latex in front and std lightweight tube in the rear. The tire would hold air fine untill I started riding at which time a bulge would start to appear and if I didn't let the air out and attempt to reseat the tire a blowout would eventually occur. I ended up calling Veloflex and getting them to send me another tire because I thought that might be the problem since the bead was poppping out at the same place evertime. New tire arrived, and I bought the Challenge latex tubs to have another go at it. I installed the front and rear and after about 5 mi of riding I had a rear blowout. Pinched tube of coarse. Right now the front is working fine, but I will not be buying anymore latex tubes anytime soon. Especially not with these tires. To me the road feel isn't that much better than lightweight tubes, and It definitely isn't worth the trouble. The Challenge latex tubes are much better than the Michelins in my opinion. There seems to be alot of extra tube with the Michelins, which to me seems like would make them more prone to pinching during install. The Challenges have the perfect amount and with a little bit of air fit snuggly around the rim.

    PROS: Lightweight

    CONS: Difficult To Install

    I uses 28mm tires, and I was using 2 of those in 700c19/28mm.
    I need to replace 1 of them but you are out of order on the 700c19/28mm.
    But you still have some 700c28/35mm left.

    My question is : Is there any downside of using the 28/35mm version? Witch one would you recommend if both option where available (for 28mm tires)?

    Also, the other one is about a year old and has about 4 000km on it, should i replace it in prevention?

    Finally, I used them without sealant but i just read a post on latex, and they where recommending to use sealant when using latex tube, what are your taught on the topic?
    do you recommend using sealant with those? If yes witch brand? about how much weight would that be adding?

    BEST ANSWER: The 28/35mm version is really for bigger cyclocross size tires. You will have no problem running the smaller size.
