Obviously, if a saddle doesn't fit your particular nether regions, then nothing else matters.

Having said that, this is the most standard, tried and true design for modern saddles. Think one size fits most.

Breaks in after about a dozen rides which is pretty standard. Super comfortable, pretty light for a steel rail saddle, looks fantastic... Also, if it fits you but you find a way to complain, you must be off your rocker. Have you checked out the price?

Jenson... please carry more charge products. The guys out there in the UK definitely know what they are doing and they are bringing in street style to the trails. This, is a good thing. I am specifically asking for Surface brand apparel as well. Please carry. I will buy, as well as many other stylish riders out there.

Having seen so many positive reviews I was surprised to be disappointed with this saddle.

I wanted a cheap light-weight saddle for my XC hardtail. It appears well built, it's not heavy, it looked good on the bike, and it's reasonably comfortable to sit on.

The problem I have with it is that I spend a lot of time OUT of the saddle and it's got issues in that department. The finish is somewhat tacky and it grips fabric. It's also rather long compared to my other saddles, a little wider at the base, and has this protruding lip on the back. The combination lends itself to hanging up on my shorts as well as having an uncomfortable side edge against my thigh when I go behind the saddle.

I tweaked around with the height and angle and was never satisfied with it. It was just too easy to get my shorts hung-up and was generally uncomfortable when it would dig into my thigh. Almost had a few spills because of it.

I've relegated it to my commuter since where this is less of an issue.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

This is the second one of these saddles I've bought - now I have one on both my commuter bike and my mountain bike.
They are well priced and they seem to suit my rear end fairly well.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

I purchased this Saddle looking for an affordable seat for my downhill bike. I didn't want to spend 50 plus dollars on a saddle that you really don't sit on that much. I took my DH bike out to a new trail and my buddy got us lost. We ended up 3 miles down the hill past where we parked the cars. I did have to ride 3 miles up hill on a 8" travel bike. Even though the pedaling up hill sucked this seat was surprisingly very comfortable.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

This is just a top notch deal hands down! Super lightweight, great looks as well. I was worried that it would b uncomfortable but that concern was put to rest. I also noticed others complaints that the black seat was to grippy. Well I always wear baggy shorts and I'm always standing up and moving behind the seat. Never once did I catch on the lip of it. Way to go Charge, looks narrow but is still comfortable!

Great seat. This is a reasonably priced seat and comes in at a very light weight. I thought it would possibly be uncomfortable due to the limited padding but found it to be a good saddle after a 3 hour ride.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

The Spoon saddle has a very user friendly shape and it's well liked by many road and mountain bikers. Avoid the model with the black 'sueded' artificial leather covering - it's far too 'grippy' and does not allow the rider to slide around, which is an essential feature of any good leather saddle. Go for the smooth leather covering and you'll enjoy this saddle. It's hard wearing and well made.

Comments about Charge Spoon Cromo Saddle:

I previously came from a Specialized Toupé, which I loved to death till it needed to retire. The spoon is a tad wider than the Toupé, but I can get used to it.

The "fabric" on there is a little grippy, and when I wear (my cool hipster raw) denim, it catches a bit. Otherwise my butt is in place.

Some say its a little hard, but coming from that Toupé, its softer.
