Clement is back in the USA, with a passion for cross! PDX provides grip in the wet and muddy conditions common to the Pacific Northwest, but uses wide-spaced knobs so it doesnt pack up with mud and dirt. This tire is ideal for racing use.
- This is a tubular (glue-on) tire and will only work on a tubular rim. It will not work on a clincher rim designed for a tire with tube, nor on a tubeless rim.

Comments about Clement PDX Tubular Cyclocross Tire:
The PDX's are made for Clement by Tufo and as such use Tufo's innovative "tubeless" tubular construction. The tire looks like a traditional tubular from the outside, but lacks a latex innertube present on many high-end tubulars. This helps the tire accept sealant well. It also limits the possibility of a pinch flat.
These tires handle mud very, very well. Not too bad in dry either. They're the best tubular out there for amateur racers in my opinion.
Unlike Dugasts or other high-end handmade options, the sidewalls come pre-treated -- elminating the possibility of sidewall rot.
They're not as supple as some, but can last two seasons if properly cared for.
Oh yeah, they mount very, very easily! Nice and straight.
A worthwhile investment for this New England racer.
