Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.
In the road scene, aluminum has somewhat struggled to find its identity, whereas steel, carbon, and even titanium have always had their strong share of loyal fans. Up until recently, aluminum has been largely used as the foundational material for bikes that aim to achieve a worthy strength-to-weight ratio while keeping the expense far below that of carbon fiber. Today, aluminum is beginning to come into its own, and the Colnago Strada SL is helping it get there.
Through their cutting-edge hydroforming shaping technique, Colnago has been able to meticulously form the tubes in order to achieve a much improved vertical shock absorption and greater torsional stiffness while also reducing weight, kissing the days of excessively unforgiving and lifeless aluminum frames goodbye. To take the Strada SL’s plushness a step further, a carbon bladed fork is used to comply with the frame’s tapered headtube, providing a more controlled ride that knows how to tame the roughness of the road. Supplementing the chic ride quality of the specifically formed tubes and carbon fork is the aggressive, race-based geometry and the all reliable Shimano 105 drivetrain.
