These tires came stock on my Canondale Cyclocross bike and they were amazing. I really had no idea how good they were until they wore out and I switched to a different tire. The new tires, although narrower and with a smoother tread pattern, were measurably slower, as much as 15%.
These Continental tires are incredibly light, allowing them to spin faster than almost any other cyclocross tire on the market.
In addition, the tread pattern on these tires makes them very versatile for use on varying surfaces. They work well on paved roads, single-track dirt trails, and even light gravel.
The only issue is that on pavement they wear out more quickly than other tires.
