I am running these on my cyclocross bike and they work great, I have yet to have a flat with these. The only caveat is that they do not have a longer presta stem on them. They are just long enough for my wheelset, if you have a very deep wheel profile these may not work. Aside from that I'm very happy with them.

I've use these and the Vittoria tubes almost exclusively, and have found no perceptible difference between the two. Both have provided me with as long an interval between flats as I have found with any tires. The valve stems hold up well, too. Overall, I have found the quality of the Conti tubes to be much better than that of generics.

The threaded Schrader valve with retaining nut holds the stem firmly like Presta. Converted both my rims to Schrader with 5/16" drill to use these tubes. The 26x1.75-2.5 is the perfect width for most cross country tires (26x2.10); not too wide and heavier duty than other tubes without being too heavy.

For a tube to leak from the valve stem right from the package is simply poor quality. I'll find another brand.

I always used these in the 26" version for my other bike but this was the first time I had used them in a 700c. Excellent as I expected, I always couple these with some Velox rim tape and the only blow out I have ever had was due to broken glass. Can't say the same for other tubes I've tried.
