Runs narrow!
I bought these tires (in a 37c width) to replace the "el cheapo" stock tires that came on my Surly Cross Check. I use my Cross Check for everything from fetching groceries to running errands to riding across town to visit friends/family, and I'm entertaining the idea of a multi-day tour this winter. These tires really couldn't be much better suited to my needs. They are extremely puncture-resistant and don't seem to even flinch at shards of broken glass, sharp pieces of metal, or gravel/rocks. The reflective sidewalls are also a huge plus for twilight or nighttime riding. The only downside to these tires is that they do seem to roll surprisingly slowly for narrow, nearly-slick, 700c rubber. Not sure if it's because of the heavy-duty casing or the tread design or what. Granted, they're not built for speed, but it really is puzzling that they aren't quicker. Another quirk that these tires have is that they run very, very narrow. As I said, I have the 37c size, and they are visibly narrower than the 32c Kenda Kwests on one of my other bikes. In fact, I'm running them with Planet Bike's Cascadia fenders, which supposedly only accommodate tires up to 35c, and I have plenty of clearance. Overall, if you're looking for a durable, reliable, safety-oriented city/commuting/touring tire, I don't think you can do much better than Conti's Touring Plus model- just keep in mind that you won't win any races with them and that they do run a bit narrow! Happy trails to you.

I bought these tires...
I bought these tires in a 700x32 for my touring bicycle that mainly carries me to and from class. These lasted me 12 months, and 3000+ miles without a single flat until today it seems the sidewall broke through. I live in Carbondale, IL and anyone familiar with the town will tell you how these streets are covered each morning with the broken glass from the night before and I NEVER had a flat tire.I was very pleased with these except I found that the reflective stripe on the sidewall seemed to get rather nasty near the end of their life but I would defiantly recommend them. I ended up going with their City version of the same tire and I hope they hold up as well.

Best Value for your money
I use these on my Giant hybrid and you get the best value for the mileage. Great all around tire. They fit on the tight side, but once you figure out, you'll be glad you got these.

I don't drive a car.
I challenged myself to go car-less for one year last may. I have gone through a set of these and am now on my second set. They are possibly the best touring/everyday tire available. I am about half-way through the tread on the second set and will buy another after that. I am more than happy with Jensen's shipping and customer service. Keep up the good work folks! I look foreward to my next purchase!

I'm a clyde (250),...
I'm a clyde (250), and I've gotten about 1500 miles out of the set. While this may not seem like much, I'll gladly trade low mileage for ZERO problems, punctures or flats. This combined with excellent ride quality and handling characteristics makes me a loyal fan.

Rugged Commuter Tire
Having worn out my old Conti City Rides on my commuter bike, I purchased these as super-reliable, no-fail, puncture-resistant replacements. Despite being quite stiff, they went on my rims without issue and have performed well so far. The white-wall stripe is highly reflective, which is an unexpected bonus. Only time will tell if they're going to be bullet-proof.
