The inexpensive Ultra Sport is ideal for road training, crummy pavement, etc. Dont waste your high-end race tires on training miles! These wear like iron and wont break the bank.
  • About 380 grams
  • Belted for puncture resistance
  • Try a nice wide one for the winter and youll never go back

Comments about Continental Ultra Sport Tire:

Smooth, low resistance, tough. I wear out tires commuting 130 miles/week on a 45+lb bike when its loaded with stuff. I look for puncture resistance, higher pressure, low rolling resistance, and good customer ratings. I don't stick to a brand, since there are so many new ones to try, but I have landed on these more than once, because they fit the bill nicely for most of the year (I need studded tires in the winter).

Comments about Continental Ultra Sport Tire:

These came stock on my new road bike, went 1700 miles without an issue. Bought these as replacements, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
They ride and corner well, and wear well if kept properly inflated.

Comments about Continental Ultra Sport Tire:

These are my go to cheap tire when I need a cheap tire. They're available in both metric and imperial sizes and are ideal for restorations. There are lighter tires and there are tougher tires, but for the money these do just fine. Not every bike needs a $100 pair of tires.
