Great Tire For The Money But Heavy
This is a great tire for the price, but the weight is kind of a bummer. I have a little over 100 miles on this tire and so far I'm really impressed. I'm running the 2.2 with tubes. There's tons of traction and it breaks away very predictably. I've ridden it in mud, hard pack and this mulchy soil we have in Northern California that's a combination of small pebbles, pine needles and leaves. It's performed well in all conditions. The biggest downside to this tire is the weight. At 1000 grams it is a boat anchor, however it rolls well just as well as my old Nevegal if not better. If you have $20 to spend on a tire you really can't go wrong with this one, but when I replace I will definitely spend the extra for the black chili compoud which is a bit lighter

PROS: Good Cushioning, Good Traction, Versatile

CONS: Heavy

Excellent tire
Love these tires for my 26" Trek, it completely changed the way the bike rides. Wish they came in 27.5"+ plus sizes as that's my primary bike now. Great grip in all sorts of conditions!

trailking wire bead tires
great tire, from a great company. after riding the der kaiser on my DH bike, I wanted to try some trail tires for my devinci dixon. these tires hook up really well, I run about 35-38 psi and they are a hoot to throw into corners. black chili compound on the tires is soft to grip the trails but they wear really slow. If your on the fence about any continental tires, buy them you wont regret it!

Glad I bought
So far it's been great in dry hard pack terrain. Also has been good and some rocky downhill. Waiting for the wet fall to arrive to see how it handles! And for the price can't go wrong.

PROS: Good Cushioning, Good Traction

CONS: Slips On Steep Climbs

Extremely Hard to Put On
These are terrible, I have had the hardest time getting them onto my rim. I pinched 2 tubes trying to put the back tire on and eventually took my bike to a local bike shop where they said it was the hardest tire they have ever had to put on.
