I had this pump for over 4 years. It's a bit long but it sure inflates tires fast. Once in a while after inflating past 80 psi, the internal check valve seal gets hung up. No worries, I disassemble it on the spot and free up the rubber flapper and continue on. I seen smaller pumps that have stroke life spans. I'm glad I have this pump, it saved me and fellow riders a few times. By the way, once u lubricate the air chamber seals, the pump Inflates tires a lot faster and stays cooler.

If you use it correctly, this pump is amazing. Everyone I've met who've had problems didn't twist the head 90 deg to lock the head on the valve. Once the head is twisted 90 deg. it is fantastic. Only mini pump that I can get road tires to 120 with easily. The high/low pressure knob works great. In low pressure, fills a MTB tire quickly. If this isn't working for you, read the instructions on how to twist and lock the head on the valve. I also have the smaller mini one for tucking in my shirt pocket; bigger one in my water pack, smaller one in my jersey when going light.

This pump is pretty good, but there are better pumps out there for the money. My main complaint is the handle shape--when inflating to high pressure, it's hard to actually finish the pump stroke. It's a decent pump, but I'd buy a more ergonomic one for long term use.

Comments about CrankBrothers Crank Brothers Power Pump Alloy:
I only bought this pump cause it was on special and i thought it was a good size to put in my backpack but really it's a piece of junk. Once you get to 20psi it really won't inflate any further, it would take forever to inflate it to a rideable pressure. Spend the extra cash and get something better
