Prices shown in currencies other than USA Dollars are estimates based on current exchange rates. We will charge your credit card in USA Dollars on the day your order is shipped, and the conversion to your local currency will be done at the prevailing rate by your credit card issuer.
Shipments outside the USA are declared as “bike parts” for customs purposes and will include the actual amount paid for merchandise and shipping. Jenson USA will not mark your parcel as a “gift”, declare a value lower than the actual price paid, or otherwise prepare false customs information.

When winter has arrived each year, most of us cyclist wind up in a jumble when it comes to staying fast and on form. We come across magazine articles and countless internet pieces that swear to us that the only way to truly train during the off-season is to ride long, slow rides in order to achieve base mileage. There is no denying that the best and most effective way to train during the cold months is to get out and ride. However, for many of us non-pro cyclists, as the days grow shorter, darker, wetter and colder, yet our work hours stay the same, our riding time and motivation is undoubtedly cut short. For those of us who don’t simply have the time to ride during daylight hours, and don’t fancy riding in the chill and low visibility of the dark hours, the answer is indoor training. Luckily for us, indoor training is the name of the game for CycleOps.

Comments about CycleOps Wind Trainer:
I'm an average age group triathlete. I ride around 1000 miles per summer. This trainer allows me to roughly double that through the cooler chicago months.
While it doesn't match the resistance of magnet or fluid trainers, it is definitely sufficient. It's more than enough to simulate tempo paces and even faster intervals. Should suffice for any average cyclist aside from pro caliber athletes.
The only con the is noise. Its not unbearable but it is a loud constant blowing sound. I'd say too loud for an apartament setting with thin walls. My set up is in the basement and it works but I still need headphones to drown out the whoooosssshhhh.
I'd definitely buy another, great for the price, and should not have the wear issues of magnetic or leaks like fluid.
