Specifically designed for XC riding, the Bracket short is made of water resistant, breathable fabric. The waistband is slightly raised in the back to cover your lower back in riding position. The adjustable Velcro straps help cinch the shorts down to a comfortable snug fit. The Bracket shorts have hand pockets, a zippered security pocket, as well as a cargo pocket. The chamois is plush and will keep your sit bones from aching. The chamois is also removable and washable.

These are good shorts with a good chamois, but the outter short material is not as breathable as some other shorts I have. They can get hot due to the lack of breathing.

These shorts are made of very durable fabric, but they do make a slight noise when pedaling (as another reviewer mentioned), which may decrease over time once they are broken in. I did not find them to be too long or catch on the knee when pedaling (as another viewer noted) but this may be due to variation in rider frame/build. There are 2 side/front pockets, and one cargo pocket on the right leg. No back pockets which is kind of disappointing. Additionally, the liner is not removable without cutting stitching which means these are only good for weekend rides and not commuting. No draw string or belt loops at waist, but there are velcro tabs that can be used to adjust the waist slightly (not much). I found the waist to fit well and i have a 32 inch waist.

Decent pair of shorts, but nothing amazing.
They look like normal shorts, so they're good to use around town. They hold up well mountain biking and crashing a few times. I've probably ridden in them for 6 or 8 hours over 3 or 4 rides. The liner is comfortable. It is NOT removable - unless you cut 2 fabric loops.
The fabric is noisy while pedaling.
I wear a 34" waist in Levis so I picked the mediums. I have to cinch the velcro down all the way for them to fit. They still tend to ride a little lower than I prefer. At least the back of the waist is high, so there's no gap.

I ride nothing but trails, and after a couple months of having these and getting to put them through the paces. All I can say is WOW. Super durable material. I'll admit they felt really have when I first got them but after wearing them a few times and breaking them in, these went from good to great. the only complaint I can think of is there weren't belt loops on the XXL size I got(I'm 6'1" 250) while the adjustment straps work well, being able to wear a belt with these would really help. And after taking some hard falls(most recently ending on a wood bridge) I expected to see some wear in the seat of the shorts but there was nothing.
