Dakine Builder's 29L Pack

How many backpacks have you seen that offer a dedicated pocket for lugging around a chainsaw? Not too many, would probably be a safe guess. Believe us, you aren’t seeing things. The Dakine Builder's 29L Pack does in fact feature an expandable chainsaw pocket that makes it easy to haul your gas powered ax into the woods for some good ol’ trail building. Let us repeat. The Dakine Builder's 29L Pack has a CHAINSAW pocket! Not to mention it also includes a quick access lopper sleeve for easy access to those long handle pruning shears that come in oh so handy for clearing small branches.

Some of the less noticeable features include a roll up nail bag, first aid case, fuel bottle pocket, water bottle pocket, and a magnetic hydration hose clip to ensure water is always close at hand. You know you’re an uncompromising mountain biker to the highest degree when you find yourself pedaling into the woods with a fully loaded Dakine Builder's Pack containing a chainsaw and all. Comments about Dakine Builder's 29L Pack:

Easy to use on my fat bike when going into the trail to cut out a fallen tree. Saves time from having to hike in and I get to enjoy the ride while working. Carries all my essential tools and then some! Soo many options that I tend to put too much stuff in the pack!

Comments about Dakine Builder's 29L Pack:

This is pack is perfect for working on remote trails, or for riding a whole trails system to take out winter deadfall. My chainsaw (a Stihl 180 w a 16" bar) fits perfectly in the chainsaw pocket, and a bigger saw would also fit. I put chainsaw boots, chaps, spare chain, water, food etc in the main compartment, and 1 liter gas and bar oil bottles in the side pockets. The pack is well balanced, and while it's heavy with all that gear, I can ride everything except the most technical features on our local trails, which are hand built and quite rough. It's also great for walking in to do trail work - much easier than carrying the saw in one hand. I've had one for a few years now, and it is very durable. We just bought this second one for our club.
