With the toughest 3D-forged 2014 T6 aluminum using proprietary 3D forge tooling for a thinner oval wall, the Deity Tibia seatpost is insanely durable and light. The oval inner forge increases strength in stress area. A splined clamping system with spring loaded guts held together by a one bolt installation process is how the seat stays put. This incredibly light and strong seatpost comes in at a claimed weight of 242grams. That’s light!

Bought the seatpost in correct for my frame 27.2 dia, but even with tightening clamp fully, it still slips into the frame while riding. Outersurface has a texture surface which I feal is part of the issue. Finish on seatpost is not very robust. Only positive is seat angle adjustability is exellent. Also tried both the Deity Clamp and my old one, slippage as imporoved with old clamp, but still slips.
