Bike is great for the price but is very heavy so better on flatter trails. Component makeup would cost you double on a "brand name" bike.

I have Overdrive Pro 2009- an upgrade from this model, but nothing compared to 2013- SICK !!!
It is beautiful this coming year. The bike treated me awesome for 2.5 years- It was my 1st 9'r so I tacoed the front wheel 1x & my 270 lb weight busted out spokes on rear wheel. That was when I 1st got it- rebuilt wheels and they are still perfect. I ride rough & this bike takes it. My 3rd Diamondback- good value.

29 inch tires are a must, no need for full suspension the huge tires are their own shocks. 100mm Rock Shox front fork is amazing, remote lock out is a real treat
