I bought this handlebar after reading a review left here by someone. The review says:

"This bar fit the mold exactly and I couldn't have been happier with the price! For the weight weenies this is probably a tad heavy: mine was in the 240g range for the 44m wide. But for what I was looking for, all I cared about were the dimensions for comfort on longer rides."

So, I understood that the handlebar weight was 240! But it is not. Well, I will resell the handlebar, but I can say it is strong and feels great in my hands. The weight is 315g for 380mm (c-c) size. Heavy! But if you don't mind, can be a good option...

Though my bike's frame is size small, it came with a 42" anatomic bar and steered like the wheel on an ocean liner. From the top to the hood was a long reach and from the hood to the drop an adventure. This bar, in 40" to fit me, is stable yet agile, and though much smaller than the other, has opened up many more comfortable and controlled hand positions. I find that the range when moving from top to hood to drop to be very natural and stretches me enough to afford the benefits intended from each position, but again, I'm 5'5" on a small frame. The change required ten more millimeters of stem, but with the low cost of this bar adding a new stem was still an economical way to get dialed in. The bar isn't light, but it makes my bike handle like it's two pounds lighter.

I ride a 10-year-old Lemond steel bike and until this year I have used the handlebars they came with the bike. I turned 55 this year and wanted a less aggressive riding position. These handlebars fit the bill exactly. The difference in riding comfort on a long ride is dramatic. I wish I had done this five years ago.

I bought this bar because I needed a bar with a wide stance but short reach. The flat top was an extra added feature that has turned out to be the best aspect of the bar. The comfort of the flat top combined with the added width gives a wide range of hand positions that make long rides very comfortable.

I got this bar to replace an old bar on an 80's era bike. I'd been shopping for a bar with very specific dimensions regarding reach, drop and width. This bar fit the mold exactly and I couldn't have been happier with the price! For the weight weenies this is probably a tad heavy: mine was in the 240g range for the 44m wide. But for what I was looking for, all I cared about were the dimensions for comfort on longer rides. I can hang out in the drops on this for 30+ minutes at a time (in a headwind) and be perfectly comfortable. Riding on the flattened tops is also super comfortable. And the short reach makes chilling on the hoods much easier on the neck and shoulders. This is of course all relative to my old bar, but it was a pretty standard dimension race bar. I'd recommend this bar to anybody looking for a good compromise between performance (weight) and comfort.......and for the price in Jenson it simply cannot be beat. I've already got 2 buddes who tried my bar and have ditched their $150+ bars and bought this one instead.

Bought this for a fixie build. The price and style were perfect. I like the shallow reach, it's perfect for a compact fit.

Imagine my surprise when I received the Dimension bar and found it was almost identical to the much more expensive, but slightly too wide, bars I had on my $3k bike. Curious, I weighed them both and found the Dimension version was just 40 grams heavier. A penalty I am more than happy to pay for the huge cost savings. Love the short reach and shallow drop, which I find makes it much easier to set up a comfortable riding position on the cross bars, hoods and drops. Overall, very happy with the product. Highly recommended.

Okay so it won't win any awards for weight, but it will in your wallet. Try it you'll like it.

No matter how long I ride, either a 40 min crit or a 5 hour training ride these bars work great. Strong for sprinting and also comfortable for climbing.
