Really a mistake on my part. I had ordered bar ends earlier and then ordered these before the first ones arrived. However, they are well made - so if they are what you KNOW you want you wont be disappointed. I am used to longer ends - if only to allow me work on my bike and not scrape computer, gear selectors or light up. These are small in length, quite thick and strong.

Pros:
These are your run-of-the-mill rebranded QBP bar ends. Aside from helping redistribute weight on uphills, they provide you with extra places to grip on long rides.
Cons:
Mine came in a shot-peened finish, but this was still very slick and difficult to hod onto with thick gloves in the winter. Add some bar tape, and your hands will thank you.
Bottom Line:
These are bar ends, not much to say. They come in different shapes and materials, but in the end, it's all another place to grip. Unless you are a complete weight weenie, you will probably enjoy them if only for the extra place to go on your handlebars.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

Love hardtails because of their ability to smoke up hills. After getting a fork with remote lockout, it was even better. Bar ends are the little mod that could, though. These fit my large hands well, and help transfer more power to the rear wheel in conjunction with lockout. Love em.
