Power Link makes it so easy to install; this really should not be over looked. Comes with the super thick and sticky factory grease. It was very difficult to degrease it so that I could run my usual chain oil that is much lighter and slipperier. Performs just as it should no problems.

Not pleased, Initially I thought it may be a stiff link or lubrication problem, but removal, recleaning and another application of tri-lube has not helped. Putting my worn, sloppy HG-73 back on restored good operation. Oddly, the skip occurs when the chain is in it's most linear alignment. It appears that the chain tends to twist under torque. Even if i get the skip worked out, I don't feel comfortable standing into it on a climb and ending up with a face full of stem and crotch planted on the backbone. Chain just feels weak.

Good product shifts well. Easy to install and keep clean after cleaning the factory grease off. Desert riding and factory grease leads to gunked up chains with sand and grit wear. Power link is great.

All chains stretch and any chain will break.
These are strong chains and good value.
I use this chain for xc racing, training, and on a commuter.

This looked like the same stuff that came on the bike when I bought it and since it was reasonably light and worked perfectly for 3 years I replaced to the same gear. The price point was excellent too.

been mountain biking for 28 yrs. have never broken a single chain! people who break chains don't know how to shift and select the right gear! I have used sram chains for over ten years now with no problems and will continue use them until I stop riding.
