Comments about Straitline Silent Guide Chain Guide:

If you are a weekend warrior or privateer racer that needs a chainguide...look no further than this guide.

I have used both E13 and MRP guides in the past and this guide is hands down the most quiet, reliable, and easy to install guide on the market. You don't have to worry about pulleys bogging down, wearing out or clogging with mud. I never once had my chain get bound up or dropped and this guide comes with the most easy to follow set up instructions I have seen in a while for any component. If you race and have to do your own wrenching...and want a worry free guide...this is it.

Comments about Straitline Silent Guide Chain Guide:

I have this on a Driver 8 setup as a 10 speed. I wish the sliders were adjustable and that s about it. It is a great chain guide. The chain slides easily and has good retention. My chain will pop out every now and then but it seems that it is due to the fact that I have a 10 speed chain.

I used the 32t version as a 1x9 and then a 1x10 setup. It works flawlessly, even in muddy conditions. Never had one dropped chain or issue with the guide.

      Straightline

      By Matt

      from Wilsons Creek NC

      Verified Buyer

      Pros

      • Easy to setup
      • It's very simple
      • Machined bracket and bash
      • No moving parts or slider

      Cons

      • 10 speed chain can derail

      Best Uses

      • DH AM and whatever else

Comments about Straitline Silent Guide Chain Guide:

I put this on my driver 8 and it's awesome and very easy to setup. The machining on everything looks flawless. The only problem is that I run a 10 speed setup with a renthal chainring on saint cranks and the chain has derailed in the past. This is a problem with most chain guides. And even using a 9 speed it does happen every now and then so it doesn't worry me to much.
