Great rolling and riding tire
As a casual rider, these tires come in at the right price point but offer plenty of value. Fast rolling, and offer plenty of traction for paved trail riding...just make sure you install them the right way round! They are a little small for my wide hybrid rims, but they still hold strong.

Excellent Tire for the money
This is a very good tire for training or just an all around road tire. Was going to buy a few more in the 700c x 25 but they are out of stock. Not sure there going to get any more of these tires

Hyperlink fast!!
Purchase these tires because you guys no longer carry the black maxxis re-fuse. So far put over 400 miles on this set. I like the look and thread pattern. They feel great and fast!! Will buy another set if I get more miles than the re-fuse (rubber too soft). Jenson has great prices and good products!!

Best bargain tire out there!
I bought these in size 23c for my wife's bike. I had little expectation with the cost, but to my surprise these have been quite excellent tires for the money.

First things first, they are a 127TPI casing, which is almost unheard of for a tire this cheap. They're also a kevlar folding bead, so these tires are incredibly light for their cost. So far she's logged just over 1,000 miles with ZERO FLATS on these tires! And to top it off, the wear rate has been incredible. I have yet to rotate the tires as the back tire hasn't even started to square-off!

I cannot personally comment on the traction having not ridden her bike, but the sides have a pretty aggressive tread and rubber compound feels compliant enough that I'm expecting good results. She has yet to ever had them slip or complain about them!

For note: I ordered hers in size 23 width, and with a digital caliper they are actually measuring around 25mm wide. My "25" width Vittoria's measure around 23mm wide with the caliper (drives me crazy how narrow they are, as I prefer 25 width for my size and strength). These are slightly on the wider side, which is perfect and everyone is preferring slightly wider these days.

These tires have been holding up so well, I ordered another pair in size 25 width for myself. I will report back what their actual width is when they arrive and after I measure them.

Overall, these are a straight 5/5 and have exceeded my expectations of all other brand clinchers under $20. I am generally going through a pair of tires every 4-6 months with all my riding. In my experience, the cheaper Vittoria's have a dismal 26 TPI casing which fails before the tread wears out, as do the cheap Michelin's with a 30 TPI casing that also fails, the Maxxis tires have too soft of rubber compound which wear-out way too fast for long mile training, and the Continental's puncture fairly easy in the tread from glass shards.

Compared to the competition, these have been excellent. I suspect everyone is weary of trying them because of the brand (although in fairness HWA Fong Rubber who makes them probably is manufacturing one or two other "big brand" tires).

YES - higher quality and lower price!
easy install. 130 TPI (thread count) far better than my old Bontragers and a fraction of the cost. Just put 100 miles on them...smooth and trouble free.

good bang for the buck
I have used them for about two weeks. This past week I have used them in wet pavement and the tires performed well. Great value for the price.

So far, so good
I recently purchased this tire for my road bike. I primarily use the bike for commuting, though I also use it for training rides to aid my mountain bike racing. My previous tire was worn out and between the tread being pretty bare on it and a weakened sidewall, I was flatting regularly on my commute which was a pain.

No flats at all since mounting the new tire. No issues getting it on the rim and it seems to provide good traction so far. It is rated to 120 psi which is higher than some clincher tires, and surprising to me since I normally associate higher pressure ratings with higher dollar tires and it doesn't get much more economical than this.

It is too early to tell the long term durability of the tire, but at this price, even to get a few months out of it would make it worthwhile and I suspect it will last far longer than that. I don't know enough about the pros and cons of road tires to comment on its suitability for racing, but certainly for a commuting and training tire it seems like a no-brainer. The only reason I have not given it 5 stars is because as mentioned, I haven't had it long enough to really assess the long term durability of it.
