Great grips for weight weenies. This is my 2nd pair of ESI grips, different bikes. My only gripe about the grips is their long term durability. No good, if you tend to hit a tree with your bar-ends every now and then. Other than that, they're light and easy to install.

My local bike shop installed these grips on my trials bike with an air compressor. They've torn around the edges, and also slid two inches in towards the brakes. I can't move them back out. I've only had them two months! The nice thing is my hands don't have huge painful calluses on them anymore. I probably put much more stress on my grips than average riders, but these just haven't held up.

Very comfortable, absorbs trail vibrations and shock. Outer edge of grips can wear/tear with falls when using supplied plastic bar end plugs. Use wider outer diameter bar end plugs such as
Hope Grip Doctor Plugs to increase durability.

Awesome grips. They feel great with or without gloves. They're very soft and do not slip. Easy to install with compressed air. They do get slightly slick without gloves when they are wet (no different thAn with any other grip I have ridden.

These grips are really comfortable, they dampen vibration well, and are grippy when dry, but they do lose a little grip when went. If you race in wet conditions, don't use these grips. And I'm not sure how they perform if you get sweaty hands, but likely not well. Also, the durability can be an issue in that small chunks rip off in crashes, but they stay grippy throughout their life. Overall, I would definitely get these grips again.

I installed a set of these on my new carbon bar because I found that the ODI lock-ons (which I do love the feel) let dirt and grime in beneath the grip, causing abrasion damage to the surface of my old bar. The lock-ons were handy because they were easy to install and remove, but they can damage the surface of carbon, and I'm not terribly comfortable with any damage to such a critical component. Thought I'd try the ESI grips based on the reviews.

They went on very easy (if you follow the instructions) and they are both grippy and comfortable. The ends are susceptible to tears when you clip a tree with your bars, so plan on replacing them a little more often than something tougher, but the performance is worth it. I've since put these grips on all of my mountain bikes. Highly recommended!

These grips are amazing. Simply coat the entire inside grip and handlebar with a window cleaner product, side on, and these never come off unintentionally. super ligthweight. i use them on my AM and my DH bikes

About a year ago I was looking for some new grips for my bike, as I tend to wear through them quickly. As I was searching, I came upon these. I ordered a pair up in blue, to match the highlights in my bike. When they arrived, I panicked as they looked like there was no way they were going to fit on my handlebars. They're a very tight fit. I got the bar and the inside wet, and spent 20 minutes trying to work them on there before the pain in my hands got me to stop and read the instructions. Turns out, you're supposed to use windex as the lubricant. Once I sprayed windex on them, the process was much easier. Once I had them where I wanted, I trimmed off about an inch of excess and then stuck on the bar end plugs. Since that time on, I've never had any issues. I took them riding everywhere from the dry and dusty to pouring rain, and the grip is exceptional in all conditions. My hands don't shift in the rain, as hard as it is to believe. They're very comfortable, and I have yet to see any signs of wear. They look like they're brand new. (I would be careful about getting the white ones as they do tend to absorb dirt and they'll stain for a little while, but it wears out eventually)
