Hard to beat this stem at this price for a stock upgrade.
I have 3 of these stems on two hardtails and my YETI ASR XC. It's as good as any other stems on the market, alloy or carbon. IF they had a 100mm on sale i would get one for my road bike. easy to intall....
i got this on sale for [$] so I really cannot complain too much, its a light stem but one side of the stem in the area that clamps to the stem was thinner than the other. either it was molded poorly or improperly machined I dont know but I never ended up using the stem because of this. I bought this stem about 2 months ago.. The bolt/nut that clamp the handlebar are designed awfully. It took about 20 minutes to figure out which way the curved nut goes onto the stem.. and within 2 months, the bolt failed and wont screw in anymore..
Recommend to avoid this stem, except for recreational riders. Not up to the level of quality I expect from Easton.
Very nice and bomb proof. Almost as light as A90, but for the amazing price i recommend it. Just be careful when tightening nuts on carbon handlebars.
Good price on a stem that's great for geared bikes. I'd pass for situations where the bars are used for leverage, i.e. singlespeed, downhill...
